Enjoy a magnificent view from the porch of your log cabin, each of which is distinctive and different. There are various floor plans and sizes; family cabins and a teenage dorm. All cabins have private baths, electric heat and many have a living or sitting room with fireplace. Each provides maximum comfort in a ranch atmosphere. The lodge, with its massive fireplace, is a favorite gathering place for the guests, particularly at the close of each day. The Ranch accommodates a maximum of 45 guests. Our unusually large crew of about 25 is able to offer distinctive personal attention.
Good Meals
A healthy measure of the R Lazy S Western hospitality is evident at meal time. We know our cooks are the best. Quality, balanced meals are served at sit down dinners in the lodge, buffets and cookouts. It is gourmet home cooking, Western style; all you can eat, 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. Children and teenagers have their own dining room with their new friends, separate from the adult guests, making mealtime especially enjoyable for them.
Daily Program
The program is full and varied, but completely optional. We offer the activities but encourage guests to do exactly as they wish. Our program ranges from active days filled with adventure to quiet, restful days on the Ranch - suitable for families, couples, and individuals. Evening activities center around the main lodge where square dances, slide shows, and talent nights frequently occur. Some of the guests (many of whom have come back year after year) simply opt for pleasant conversation around a cozy fire.
The 325-acre ranch adjoins the South boundary of Grand Teton National Park, with the beautiful Snake River on the East boundary and the majestic Tetons to the West. The R Lazy S is just 20 minutes from the town of Jackson; 30 minutes from a modern airport and only a few minutes from Teton Village, which is a year-around recreation area. Close by are Teton trails, alpine lakes, sparkling streams and lush green meadows. The towering Teton Mountains are in full view and readily accessible from the Ranch.
